GelbwurstGelbwurst Chubs or Veal Bologna

At Finest Sausage and Meat we give our customers the finest quality meat and meat products. One of our top selling luncheon meats is, without a doubt the Veal Bologna. Our Veal Bologna is a big seller with both children and adults alike. This product is available in three different sizes. The Veal Bologna, which is the largest of the three sizes, is great for deli trays and sandwiches because of its large diameter. The other two sizes are smaller and have a two inch diameter.

The Gelbwurst Chub is a single-serving portion meant to be sliced and portion controlled by the buyer at home. This portion weighs in at approximately half a kilogram. The Gelbwurst is a longer product that is more likely to be purchased by a grocery store or a catering company and portion controlled at the business. Gelbwurst is a blend of beef and pork, which has been seasoned with a special blend of spices, which gives this luncheon meat a flavour that must be sampled.

Our Veal Bologna looks very similar to our Garlic Bologna; however, this deli meat comes in a bright yellow casing and not the brown casing of the Garlic Bologna. At Finest Sausage and Meat we make three different sizes of Veal Bologna: two different lengths of chubs and a larger one meant for sandwiches or deli tray. We make Gelbwurst Chubs, which weigh approximately 500 g and are great for taking on trips or for small families help take care of their weekly sandwich needs.

Smoked-BeefSmoked Beef

Smoked Beef is a very delicious product from Finest Sausage and Meat. We consider Smoked Beef as one of our premier products. This very lean cut of beef is prepared in the same fashion as all of our double smoked ham products, by first being trimmed and then marinated in a very lightly seasoned brine for two weeks. After this process is complete we send the seasoned beef to the smoke house to go through the smoking process two times. Once our Smoked Beef has been through the smoking process it visits the drying room before it is ready for market.

This is a wonderful smoked product that has many uses. Whether you want to use it as an appetizer before a big meal or you just want to nibble on it during the big game, we know our Smoked Beef will certainly exceed your expectations.

Double-Smoked-Ham-Bone-InSmoked Ham Bone In

At Finest Sausage and Meat we have been in the business of producing European specialty meat products since 1975. Smoked Ham Bone In from Finest Sausage and Meat is a very high-end double-smoked pork product and we consider it another one of our finest offerings. This double smoked ham is created using a large portion of ham, which is covered on one side by an even layer of speck and as the name suggests, this product has a bone in it.

This portion of ham is lightly trimmed and readied for the brine. After trimming the ham we marinade it in a lightly seasoned brine for two weeks. After the two week marinating process is complete, we hang the hams and send them to the smokehouse. Once in the smokehouse the ham finishes the transformation into Smoked Ham Bone In as it becomes naturally wood-smoked twice. Once the smoking process has been completed twice, we hang the bone in ham in the drying room for one week to make it ready for market. Smoked Ham Bone In is a very flavourful and appealing product made ready to eat.

Smoked Ham Bone In can be prepared and enjoyed in a large number of ways. A number of chefs in the area spread cream cheese on it and serve it with wine, while others serve it as a very wonderful appetizer.
