- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small taco shells or tortillas
- Your favourite taco toppings (shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, etc.)
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the ground pork and ground beef to the skillet. Break the meat apart with a spoon and cook until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sprinkle the cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the meat mixture. Stir well to combine, ensuring the spices are evenly distributed. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavours meld.
- Warm the taco shells or tortillas according to the package instructions.
- Assemble your tacos by spooning the pork and beef mixture into each shell or tortilla.
- Top with your favourite taco toppings. You can use shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, or any other toppings you love.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious pork and beef fusion tacos!
