Pork and Beef Fusion Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small taco shells or tortillas
  • Your favourite taco toppings (shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground pork and ground beef to the skillet. Break the meat apart with a spoon and cook until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the meat mixture. Stir well to combine, ensuring the spices are evenly distributed. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavours meld.
  5. Warm the taco shells or tortillas according to the package instructions.
  6. Assemble your tacos by spooning the pork and beef mixture into each shell or tortilla.
  7. Top with your favourite taco toppings. You can use shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, or any other toppings you love.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious pork and beef fusion tacos!
